EARLY AMERICAN SUMMER DAYS
July 30 - August 2, 2024
Early American Summer Days combines 19th century history with 21st century fun! Designed for ages 7-12, all sessions give children who have completed grades 1-5 a glimpse into the museum’s historical spaces and an opportunity to do themed activities and craft projects.
TEEN LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
July 23-26, 2024
Teen Leadership Experience invites youth who have completed grades 7-11 to experience 19th century trades in a hands-on setting and receive strengths-based leadership training. This program will show how these trades are still applicable in the 21st century and ways to continue exploring them after the workshops wrap. Students will choose one of three tracks for their experience: blacksmithing, open-hearth cooking, and sewing. Priority applications due 5/1
