Fun-Raiser ~ Support the Local Scouts BSA Troop 124

By Laurie Ritrosky, Publisher of Macaroni Kid Westfield-Southwick March 5, 2020

Did you know...? The Boy Scouts of America now accepts boys and girls! The older youth program, "Boy Scouts," is now called "Scouts BSA" and consists of boys and girls ages 11-17. The younger version called "Cub Scouts" started welcoming girls two years ago.

Young women can now realize their dreams of becoming Eagle Scouts, the organization's coveted highest rank, which can offer lifelong academic and professional benefits. The first class of female Eagle Scouts will be recognized this year, according to Scouts BSA.

Scouts BSA Troop 124 is the new troop in Westfield that is giving girls the opportunity to enjoy all the great aspects of Scouting.

Join them for a fun-raiser at Friendly’s Restaurant, 21 Southampton Rd. in Westfield this Friday, March 6th. Friendly’s will donate 20% of guest’s checks to Troop 124 if you present them with the certificate below any time on March 6th.
