2018 Gold Daisy Awards ~ Nomination Round Extended

This Just In...We are extending the Nomination Round until midnight on Friday, Sept. 28th! So you have a little more time to get in your nominations.

We are so excited to announce our third annual Gold Daisy awards, honoring the best local family-friendly businesses in our area! Because let's face it, without them our towns would not survive, and without us supporting them, they can't survive. So let's show them some love once again.

Who do parents turn to when they want to find the best places to go like restaurants, doctors, dance classes, or even travel agents? Other parents!! We want YOU to nominate the businesses that you, your kids, and your family love in Westfield, Southwick, Agawam, West Springfield, Feeding Hills, and Granville. This is your chance to give a shout-out to all of those awesome local businesses you go to all the time, and help other families to learn about these great places too!

September 13-28: NOMINATE your favorite businesses and spread the word to local friends and family to submit their nominations!

October 4-17: VOTE for the best in each category from the top 3 nominations! Share with friends and family so they can vote too!

October 25: WINNERS will be announced!

What's in it for you?
Nominate your favorite businesses and you will be automatically entered for a chance to win a $25 gift card to the local business OF YOUR CHOICE! We'll give a $25 gift card during nominations and another one during voting. (total of 2 gift cards)

What the winning businesses receive:
The winning business in each category will receive a free Business Directory listing for one year under the 2018 Gold Daisy Winners category (a $99 value), a WINNER window cling, a graphic to post on your website and social media pages, bragging rights, and the satisfaction of knowing that Macaroni Kid families think you're the best! Plus, one GRAND PRIZE WINNER that receives the most votes overall will also receive a free three-month graphic ad on our website and in our weekly newsletter during the months of Jan., Feb. & March 2019 ($354 value with the Business Directory listing).

RULES
-Only one nomination per valid email address.
-To nominate a business you must be a Macaroni Kid Westfield-Southwick Edition FREE email subscriber, to sign up click here.
-Only the top 3 nominations in each category will be move on to the voting round. In case of a tie, more businesses will move on.
-Macaroni Kid families will then vote on their favorites and one winner in each category will be selected.
-All eligible persons nominating and voting must be 18 years or older.
-All business nominations must be located or have service in one of these towns; Westfield, Southwick, Agawam, West Springfield, Feeding Hills, Granville.
-All persons nominating and voting will be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to the local business of their choice (2 winners picked on 9/29 and 10/18) Winners will be selected from all eligible entries using Random.org and will be notified by email.
