From Uncle Milton Toys

We were lucky enough to get a bunch of National Geographic Outdoor Explorer Toys from Uncle Milton Toys! These are wonderful toys designed to get your kids outdoors. Something that I know my kids need! I have two boys ages 10 & 14, and even though we live in the woods on a lake, they are still tempted to spend a lot of the Summer indoors playing video games:( I try to get them outdoors as much as possible, and these toys really helped for both of my boys!

We received 11 toys, and I will be reviewing a few of them each week for the next four weeks. This week is Earth Tag, a 4 in 1 Navigation Tool and All Terrain Nature Collector. Each toy comes with instructions and an activity guide. The activity guide gives suggested games and activities to do with the toys.

Earth Tag is "a unique game that combines elements of identification, nature and the great outdoors." It comes with 2 suggested games called 'Tree-Mendous Mission' and 'Beat The Clock.' It looks like a sling shot, and my son loves it!

4 in 1 Navigation Tool is just what is sounds like! It has 4 features to help you navigate the great outdoors: a compass, a thermometer, a mirror and a whistle. It also comes with a carabiner to easily clip onto your kid's gear. It is made of light-weight plastic and perfect for kids!

All Terrain Nature Collector (pictured above) was my kids' favorite! It is a "grabber" with clear plastic domes on the end, so you can easily observe (and not harm) anything you catch. On the first day my kids caught a beetle, a slug and a salamander. They tried to catch a frog, but it was too big for the dome. We grow em big around here!

Next week I will tell you about the High Sierra Headlamp, Expedition Sky Flare and Shoe Lights.
