Let's go apple picking!!!!

This weekend, my family and I went to Mountain Orchard to go apple picking. It was a really nice drive out there seeing the changing leaves on the nice country roads. It's in Granville, 668 Main road, a 17 minute drive from Westfield. Once there we were greeted and given our choice of 2 bags, the smaller, a peck, is $20, the bigger, a half bushel, $30. We were given a map and instructions on where to go.

There were so many apples to pick from. There was a wide variety of different types of apples. A nice thing too was there are apple trees right next to where you park which is perfect for people that don't want to or can't walk too far. However if you want to take a little walk and see the scenery, which is really nice because you are on top of a mountain, you can because the trees that you can pick from go on for a little while down the path. So it really works for anyone that wants to go pick some apples.

It's a third generation owned apple farm, since 1919, that is in it's third year of apple picking. The owner, Christine, was very nice. She was helpful letting us know what kind of apples we were picking and let us know if we had any questions to let her know.

My four year old ate five apples before we even got home and my seven year old extremely picky son even ate three apples so you know they are good. So, I highly recommend going take a nice drive and check it out.
