Moolicious Farm is looking for your help! For the last 15 years or so we have worked together with the West Springfield Park and Rec. helping with their program, Operation Santa. Because of our experience in West Springfield, when we opened Moolicious in Southwick we looked at starting a Secret Santa program in town. At the time, the family coalition of Southwick was responsible for helping local families with toys for Christmas so we held off.
About a year after we opened at our new location on Feeding Hills Rd., we decided we wanted to give back and help the community leading to our event “Thanksgiving for all” which is currently in its 3rd season. We work with the senior center and the food pantry for our guest list and provide a Thanksgiving meal to local families and residents in need. It has been a great partnership. Recently, after having lengthy talks with Sally from the Southwick food pantry, we feel the need to help the underprivileged children during the holiday season seeing as how there is no longer a program in Southwick that helps with toys for Christmas.
We are hoping to make a difference as we provide local children with a gift. There are 135 children at this time.
We are looking for new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls ages infant to 16 years ($10 value.)
