Start the holiday season off right with the Springfield Museums! On Friday, November 28, the Museums will present their Holiday Wonderland Celebration from 10 am – 5 pm, with loads of family activities, a performance of Hansel & Gretel by the National Marionette Theatre, and the opening of this year’s Adventures in Gingerbread exhibit, all free with museum admission.
That evening, it’s a touch of old New England at the annual Lighting of the Quadrangle from 5 – 7 p.m. The evening lighting ceremony is FREE and open to the public, and includes free hot cocoa and cookies, carriage rides, music, and an appearance by St. Nick himself!
