Visitors will be welcomed by the Poinsettia Fantasy, wave back at the Cat in the Hat, Cindy Lou Who and Santa. They will awe at the deer that leap over their cars and the magnificent glow coming from the displays lit with LED (light emitting diodes), the newest being the Seuss Land Arch that stands 40-feet tall.
A visit to the Bright Nights Gift Stop will bring added fun to the experience. New to the area will be a merry-go-round with horses draped with holiday garland. This will add to the already bustling area that offers snacks, souvenirs, visits with Santa, and weekend horse-drawn wagon and carriage rides.

Activities enhancing Bright Nights 20th season include Roll Back Night on November 26 when admission is $6 as it was in 1995, Military Night on December 3 when admission is free for active members of the military and their spouses, as well as Supper with Santa on December 12 and 14. Columbia Gas of Massachusetts is sponsoring a night of free carousel rides on Wednesday, December 10.
