National Geographic Outdoor Explorer Toys Review 2

From Uncle Milton Toys

In week 2 of my review of the National Geographic Outdoor Explorer toys, we are looking at the nighttime adventure toys.
Among the toys that we received were some really fun light-up toys geared toward the outdoors at night. These were really a favorite for my boys. They love anything that lights up, but these got them outdoors. You can use them during the day, but they found it much more fun at night.

High Sierra Eco-Explorer is a lamp that comes with a strap so you can put it on your head. This leaves your hands free to catch small, nighttime critters. It comes with a removable compartment with air holes for collecting and observing.

Expedition Shoe Lights-we did not receive these, but they look pretty cool! They feature 2 light up modes: Night View and Path Finder. They attach easily to most shoes and come with an explorer activity guide.

Expedition Sky Flare was the boys' favorite this week! (Pictured above) It has a red LED light on it that you can turn on and off. It shoots in the air up to 50 feet with a launch band, much like a sling shot. It works great at night! Signal other explorers to let them know where you are. It also comes with an explorer activity guide with suggested games called 'Right On Target' and 'On The Hunt.'

Next week I will tell you about National Geographic Wild Puzzles.
